It's About Thyme
The difference between English and French thyme still eludes me, at least the taste difference. What I do know is that the English thyme, pictured above, has white blossoms, while the French cultivar, pictured below and to the left, has pink blossoms.
Lemon thyme is an herb of a different color, chartreuse; the flavor compares to the other thymes with a citrus note. It's pictured above with lobelia "Chrystal Palace".
